SNRIs

Question:

I have been told serzone is a off shoot of Trazadone.  Is this correct? And I would like to know any trials that any one has had with the stuff.  Good things Bad things ect. Please E mail me as I may not read the post.  Thanks Lyle

Yup, its an offshoot.  It’s supposed to avoid side effects such as priapism, although there have been a few reports of it in Serzone, but not as many.

I have been taking 300 to 400mgs of Serzone daily for about 2 years. The thing that I noticed right away was that the anti- depressant effects came on more rapidly than with the SSRI’s like Prozac, Effexor etc. and the side effects from these SSRI’s relating to sexual function disappeared after starting Serzone. Shortly after starting Serzone I experienced some Central Nervous stimulation that was quite unexpected yet rather pleasant since I could not seem to get out of my hole with the others.
