10-15 mins – often no orgasm at all, wife is ready for sleep by the time I’m ready to come. Keep in mind that since being on meds my sex drive has dropped from a high normal to basically nonexistant > 3. What is/was the name(s) of the medication which was a means for the > delay?

Effexor, solian Good luck, but I don’t think that meds are the way to a happy fulfilled life (sex or otherwise)

Not being a doctor, I must qualify, but I’d say no.  Viagra along with some type of stimulation, certainly begets a nice stiffy.  But if the problem, psychologically or physically induced, is premature ejaculation, I would think Viagra would only allow one to prematurely ejaculate more often. — MC proud of the 2002 World Series Champion Anaheim Angels!

Thanks Donna. I was beginning to think that this website had a special decoder built into it which scrambled my posts and changed them into Chinese at the other end! m~, many people don’t think so, but I HAVE seen it mentioned once or twice that it works for this purpose. I’m still on my first SSRI, which is Zoloft/Lustral. I intend to go through the entire SSRI family until I find a means to a cure. I’ll keep praying. I haven’t tried anything else, including Viagra, but if I ever reach that stage, I’ll try to remember to post my results.

yeah viagra is probably good for any type of sexual problem be you male or female.  Just the same way that SSRI’s will cure any sort of behavior problem. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – >zoloft might well do the trick… it delayed orgasm unbearably for >me…. !!! but im female so i cant really comment on your situation.. im >sure i’ve read something about viagra being used for ejaculatory delay >though…. >good luck… >m~ > Thanks Donna. – Diagnosis and treatment of mental problems have been subject to whim since shamans first rattled gourds over the heads of lunatics. Despite claims of scientific advances, that hasn’t changed.

    Response:

Psychiatrists castrate you this is what they do never be able to do this again ever again. Just by coming into contact with the USAF Veseley and he approaches you with his virtual weapons needed a lawyer for sex offenses. All do castrate, did you commit a crime? Are you Gacy? Why cant you anymore. Read the laws about sex offenders, and the drugs all are treat them all that way enough to kill anyone castrations.

    Response:

Thanks Andrew. Very informative post, however, I am pretty much clued up on all that kind of stuff. The problem is that even if a man and his wife share a whole day of mental foreplay followed by 2-3 hours of physical foreplay, all of which produces a number of orgasms for the wife, at the end of it all, you still want intercourse to last a little for more than a few seconds! Even though intercourse itself may not produce an orgasm, the woman does love the feel and thought of it, which ofcourse gives her great pleasure. The other thing which people seem not to be too aware of, is that the majority of men would like to last longer, not only to please the woman, but for himself as well. It is much more pleasurable for him to build up the pleasure. I am not asking for any sort of sexual advice, because that is way off the topic of this board. I am seeking advice from people who have taken these anti-depressants.
