Memo to self: correction. I have taken Celexa, in combination with Epival, if I remember correctly. It was the only SSRI out of four I’ve had that seemed to have any effect whatsoever. Hi all, Been lurking for a while and decided it was time to come out and play.  I have been going through Bipolar hell for a few weeks now and thought I would come in and ask for some help and advice.  My name is Mary Kay.  I am a newbie to this board but not to newsgroups.   I have been doing the Bipolar rollercoaster.  Manic one minute depressed as hell the next.  Ultra rapid cycling.  Within the space of an hour I am going from euphoric to wishing I was dead.  Then to top it all off, I have been cutting.  Not the first time and probably not the last.  Finally went to see my P’doc.  It was the first time I had ever told him about the cutting.  I half expected him to lock me up and throw the key.  But he just just looked at me, smiled and said sounds like we need to tighten the screws up on your meds.   Needless to say I breathed a huge sigh of relief.  I am now on Effexor XR, Trileptal, this is in addition to Topamax and Ativan which was already in my daily regime.  He has me weaning off Celexa as we decided it crapped out.   After spewing all that out to you my question is this.  Have any of you taken the Effexor XR, Trileptal, or the Topamax??? Good results bad results???? Any results???
